Sorry so long in replying. Chaos with grandsons here in MI. Rules. Hmmm, let's see. You've about covered the "rules." From my perspective, The guide tries to keep travelers entertained with stories and games. Lots of catching up on napping on those bus rides. Also comedy C/Ds and DVDs for entertainment. Pass out goodies occasionally. It's amazing how exciting a basket of candy bars can be. Actually, when I was the traveler and not the leader on a couple of trips, I found that exciting too. Pathetic, isn't it. Have you picked your dad's brain for rules he remembers? I began assigning seats on bus and in dinner theaters early on so spouses and friends could be at same table. In Branson theaters, groups are marched in behind a flag carrying theater rep to a block of seats. That is where the fun begins. Interesting to see people jockey for the aisle seats (can't really blame them.) A theater rep once told me my group was the most difficult group she had ever tried to seat. If I think of anything else, I'll send it your way. When will play be staged? Sounds like one I don't want to miss.
