Ellie and God, PAC III, Perf 3

Ellie: Wow.

God: Yeah. Wow.

Ellie: What a weekend.

God: Amen.

Ellie: How can you top something like this?

God: Ellie, with me, you can always top things. Life gets better and better, and in a few minutes. .

Ellie: Yeah?

God: In a few minutes everyone will get a chance to talk to me personally.

Ellie: At the altar.

God: Right up front here. It’s their choice.

Ellie: I’ve always wondered, Lord.

God: Yeah?

Ellie: What should I pray about? . . .I mean when I come to the altar tonight.

God: Depends on who you are. Remember when we talked earlier. . . It depends on who you are. Some people pray to accept Christ as their savior. That’s the biggie. But you can pray about anything.

Ellie: I guess since I don’t eavesdrop I never know what people are praying about.

God: Then let’s ask around one last time. Some people out there tonight have come up to pray many, many times. Ask them. . .ask someone about a time they prayed alone or with someone.

Ellie: Is that okay? Can you ask someone that?

God: I guess they don’t have to answer. . .but from what I’ve seen this weekend, I’ll bet they will. So. . . give it a try.

Ellie: (someone you’ve talked with ahead of time) ______________. Would you tell me about a time you came to the altar at the end of camp? (They do.)

God: You picked a good one there. Try someone else.

Ellie: (another person) ________________? (they respond, then) . . Thanks.

God: My altar is open to everybody tonight. . to talk about anything. . . and if you don’t know what so say, that’s okay. Ask a counselor or a friend of your to come up with you. Don’t worry. . . I’ll give them the words. I’m good at that. And you know what some people do?

Ellie: What?

God: They just come up and listen. They say nothing and just ask me to speak to them.

Ellie: You can do that?

God: I can do anything I want. I can do anything you want.

Ellie: I can’t wait.

God: Then don’t.

Ellie: Huh?

God: I’m open 24-7, Ellie. Ask someone to come up and pray for you.

Ellie: Cool. ______________? Would you pray for me?

(John and Maddy sing their song about altar time. . cue them to be in place ahead of time. In fact, John can be playing the background music for your entire scene. Cue Mr. West that his guitar won’t be needed for this one. If your prayer ends before the song ends, then just exit.)
