Camp Sunshine — Triopia Jr./Sr. High School
2024 · Steve McCarty Gymnasium, Triopia Jr./Sr. High School · Triopia
In the spring of 2024, Triopia Jr./Sr. High School and the Ken Bradbury Foundation joined together to stage Ken's musical comedy Camp Sunshine — bringing one of Ken's own works back to the Triopia stage where he taught and directed for decades.
This hilarious take on summer church camp brings us to Camp Sunshine, a Baptist camp in Arkansas where campers and counselors (even a nun!) all learn what it means to see God, even in the most unconventional of ways.
The production was directed by Katie McDannald and Casey Suhling, with the program provided courtesy of the Ken Bradbury Foundation — exactly the kind of partner restaging the Foundation exists to make possible.
