Memories of Mama, Thinking of Dad — Theatre in the Park

Over the weekend of July 25–27, 2025, Theatre in the Park at New Salem staged Ken Bradbury's Memories of Mama, Thinking of Dad — the two-act readers'-theatre quilt in which five men remember their fathers and five women remember their mothers.

The production was supported by the Ken Bradbury Foundation, which the Theatre in the Park board partnered with through a funding request, with the show's proceeds returning to the Foundation. It was one of a growing number of Ken's works finding new life on the outdoor stage at New Salem, near Petersburg, Illinois.
