Captain Jack Bailey's All-Star Country-Western Circus
1982 · Triopia High School
Captain Jack Bailey's All-Star Country-Western Circus is an original full-length work Ken Bradbury wrote for the 1982 Triopia High School production — a show remembered as "perhaps the most ridiculous THS title." A country-western-themed circus, the action centered on Captain Jack Bailey's troupe: a stable of clowns galloped around a rat-shooting performer, a Dolly Parton send-up worked the crowd, and a frizzy-haired child performer screamed and ran offstage.

Production Notes
The cast also included a child performer — Jeff Westerfield's sister — making her first stage appearance as a frizzy-haired little Annie look-alike whose job, as Ken recalled it, "was to scream and run offstage a lot." Captain Jack Bailey's All-Star Country-Western Circus is listed among Ken's authored full-length works in four of his own catalogues of his writing.
