Lark and the Locust (also styled The Lark and the Locust) is an original full-length musical that Ken Bradbury wrote and directed for Triopia High School in Concord, Illinois, where he taught English, dramatics, speech, and creative arts. Ken's resume lists the show twice — under "Author of the Following Full-Length Musicals" and under "Director of the Following" — establishing that he both authored and staged it. No synopsis, song list, or performance dates survive in the archive.

Lark and the Locust belongs to the run of original musicals Ken created during his years at Triopia, grouped on his resume alongside Speak of the Devil, Summertree, The Flight of the Jackal, and Giant Killer. A hard-bound copy of the full-length script was donated to the Western Illinois University Archives & Special Collections and is listed in their collection of Ken's works.

Cast member Becky McCartney was a Triopia student discovered by Ken; her credits with him include Flight of the Jackal, Summertree, The Lark and the Locust, and Giant Killer. She later traveled with Ken's Dutch Sometimes Theatre and appeared with the Jacksonville Theatre Guild.
