Grant

This entry preserves a small set of photographs from a Civil War-era production centered on Ulysses S. Grant. No script or program survives in the archive, so the images themselves carry the record.

The pictures show four costumed figures against a dark studio backdrop: a bearded Union general in dress blues with a cigar — clearly the Grant of the title — alongside a figure costumed as Abraham Lincoln in a black frock coat and bow tie, a woman in a tartan hoop-skirt period gown, and a fourth player in more casual dress. The look is firmly mid-19th century, evoking the Lincoln–Grant years of the war.

Because the documentation is so thin, this page is intentionally brief. It exists chiefly to keep these costume portraits within the larger record of Ken Bradbury's work.
