Thanksgiving is approaching… One of the few holidays that we haven’t fouled up yet with commercialization. Wal-Mart and Amazon.com still can’t find a way to make us feel guilty for not having the most expensive turkey.
Our economy is being sucked up by the Chinese government, our kids aren’t doing as well as the Scandinavians, and the Japanese can undersell us on the SUV market, but when it comes to being thankful, we still do pretty well as a nation.
Countless European tour guides tell me that Americans are the most appreciative people they take on vacations…notes, emails, phone calls.
In the Garden…..grandma…
Grandma?
