Every Christmas, Aunt Bertha would show this to us. You’ve got to empty your cup before it can be filled.
Still the world’s richest nation. An entire Guatemalan village could live a year on the meal you’ll eat this noon.
Chicago Tribune Shaquile O’Neil.. suspended from one game for slapping a player with the Utah Jazz …… before the game started.. One game? $156,000
Jerry Seinfeld quit… rumored that the network offered him $5 million an episode to stay.

You may have heard this before… If the world were a village of 100 people, 70 unable to read 1 would have a college education 50 would suffer malnutrition 80 would live in substandard housing 6 would be Americans. Those 6 would have half of the total income of the village. Those 6 would consume one-fifth of the village’s resources.
We are blessed. Alaska cruise.. lady… guilt. “We’ve earned this.” Which? Born Cleveland? Healthy or White?
My bathroom. Family goes before they come. Neat thing: in heaven, you’re all gonna come over and use my john. If you think it’s awful to have a disastrous bathroom, try holding it through eternity.
It’s easy to get the cute little babe in the Christmas pageant mixed up with the man who emptied his cup for us.
WHAT MAKES US SO AFRAID TO EMPTY OUR CUP? Sometimes we fear to empty our cup because of what others would say. Loretta LaRoche in her JOY OF STRESS...says we all go around with this committee in our head..the infamous “they”...they who are always watching us... in our head. “What would they think?” Put that committee on a bus and take it for a ride tomorrow morning.. Tell them “I’m drivin’ and we’re goin’ for a ride.”
Let me tell you a wonderful story about the empty glass. Fidel Cashero
A lady named Helen: MS. I’ll call her with prayer request: “Oh, Praise God!” “Jesus Loves you and I do, too.” Helen’s response to a life of tragedy is “What an opportunity!” She literally bakes cookies for the Farmers Market to get her granddaughters through college. Spare time? Goes to India to build schools. She’s spending this weekend in the Mt. Sterling prison, bringing the message of Christ to the inmates. Helen has less material wealth than any of us. Yet she gives more. Helen’s glass is always full because she continues to empty it.
Ketchikan Pres. missionary. Klingic Indians Our giving is is MORE THAN NEEDED. It is THEREAPUDIC . It is LIFE GIVING.
The Compass Boy.
Isaiah …. 58 6-11 Bryan, nursing home.
Our time would all have been better spent today if we’d have been out doing something for others rather than listening to me. But you’re stuck listening to me, so listen to me.
If your life could be summarized in two words… A subject and a verb.. It might be He taught. She sold. He governed. He managed. He bored. What was Christ’s subject and verb. Not He lived. He died. He preached. He healed. But simply… He gave. He emptied His cup completely.
It’s a season of miracles… This week Discovered a miracle drug for baldness, My Aunt Alberta didn’t return any of the gifts her kids family gave her.
If you truly want a full cup this Christmas, please empty yours. Empty it by giving of yourself. Jesus did it for us. We can do no less.
