Read Psalm 119 first 10 verses
Traveling season My mother was a traveler.. paid for my first trip abroad..hooked ever since. Since 1979.
Taking 30 teenagers overseas for two weeks takes a profound faith in God. And although it sounds funny, I’m telling you the truth. I suppose that people do raise kids with Jesus but I have no idea how. Returned early this morning from Jr High Christian camp.. 100 Jr. High students.. a friend and I started the camp 20 years ago.. Last week..fell out of a tree..7 ribs.. hospital. At times like this, Jesus isn’t a luxury.. he’s a necessity.
One of my worries…where would I find Jesus? You only have to travel overseas to realize that we actually are a very Christian nation. Organized worship as we know it is pretty much an American phenom. Avg. church attendance in Great Britain. Around 5 %.. and it has the highest rate in Europe.
Christ is indeed everywhere..from Bulgaria to Buckhorn.
